We started collection of used monofilament nylon fishnets in the Awatetornu (Kpando area) in the Volta Region
Results of Hardwork
2021-2022Part of 30 semi-finalists of the Afri-plastics Challenges, We have successfully engaged with 10 coastal in the Western Region, 5 coastal communities in the Central Region. 7 communities along the River Volta in the Volta region, 4 communities in the Oti Region. 8 communities along the White Volta in the Savannah Region and 10 communities in the Kwahu East and Afram Plains South District in the Eastern Region.
1st Quarter
2022 Q1Established 3 iTPs (Kotoso (Eastern Region), Busua (Western Region), and Apam (Central Region), part of the 15 finalists of the Afri-plastics challenge.
2nd Quarter
2022 Q2Shipped 8.4 tons of monofilament nylon 6 fishnets to Switzerland for recycling Held a Pre-launch ceremony for Busua iTP on World environment day.
